[ oh.. tighnari you sneaky little tease!! those soft words so close to his ear make him tense and shiver, and cyno swallows thickly. wily fox. once those hands pull away, cyno feels bereft. ]

[ AHEM!! finishing up now, making sure he's evenly covered from nose to toes, cyno stands up. ]
I'll see if I can find some shells to bring back for you.
[ there's a twinkle in two-toned eyes, suggesting tighnari knows precisely what he did there. is doing to cyno, with an aura full of airy playful tease.
he settles in one of the chairs, putting on a bit himself on any exposed skin as his fluffy tail sways contently. he hums softly in reply. ]
[ sly little fox.. he's going to have way too much power over cyno, now!! perhaps he should rethink this - no, no he likes it actually, even if tighnari's teasing smile makes him look like a bratty little bastard!! cyno loves everything about it.
tighnari gets comfortable, while cyno jogs off toward the shore, crashing into the surf and diving beneath the waves. it's been awhile since he's last had the chance to do something like this. he's gone for about twenty minutes or so, perhaps half an hour, enjoying a swim and searching out interesting things on the sea bed beneath the waves.
when he returns, his hands are full, and onto one of the towels he sets his findings. several bits of colorful sea glass, a mermaid's purse, some broken shells but also some whole ones, including a lovely scallop shell the size of his palm. ]
[ once cyno leaves, tighnari watches him for a moment until he finds himself slowly dozing off. the comfort of the warmth, even under the shaded umbrella, was enough to lull him to rest with the sound of crashing waves in the background. he isn't completely asleep though - given the way his ears twitch now and then to the sounds around, especially when cyno eventually makes his way back.
he blinks awake, rubbing a little at an eye until peering over at the amount of goodies the man has collected. oh, he really did come back with a treasure hoard. ]
Moon jellies? Really? Huh...
[ there's interest in his eyes as he sits at the edge of his seat, plucking the scallop shell to admire it for a moment until he sets it back. ]
Was it a good swim? Your bountiful catch seems to suggest so.
[ ah, tighnari looks so cute when he's dozing like that, all sleepy-eyed.. and cyno can say as much out loud, if he wants to!! he smiles fondly, then sits cross-legged on the towel, beneath the shade of the umbrella. ]
It was. The water feels excellent.
[ crisp but not freezing, and the waves and swells aren't too strong, either. just enough to challenge him and give him a good full body workout. he runs his fingertip along the smooth curve of a bit of blue sea glass. ]
Some of the jellies were washed up on the shore, but there are many in the water, too.
[ tighnari moves off the chair to sit on the towel alongside, resting close beside him that can be felt by the way his tail sways over along cyno's back. he reaches to grab a smaller towel to start rubbing at the ends of the other man's hair. sir, you're dripping water everywhere. ]
That's good to hear. And you feel alright?
[ only because he knows there's usually... something wiht these floors, so he may as well ask and see. his ear twitches as he listens, still drying at the end of cyno's hair. ]
I'm sure they were quite the sight. You don't normally see many of them in Sumeru's waters, if any.
[ unless you were mistaking a sight of a hydro fungi or something. ]
[ he sure is dripping water everywhere!! he's clearly unconcerned, but he won't stop tighnari from fussing, either - he likes when tighnari fusses over him, a little bit. it's a nice feeling, a warm feeling. ]
Yeah, I feel fine.
[ generally speaking moon jellies are relatively harmless, but tighnari is right to be suspicious anyway, since you never can know what these floors might throw at you. thankfully cyno seems plenty unscathed from them, at least for now.
cyno lifts a bit of smooth green sea glass, holding it up to tighnari's face with a smile. ]
[ with some sunlight, airdrying is probably enough really, but he'll fuss (Lightly) over him. there's probably no risk that the man will get sick easily but one can never be too sure. ]
Hmmm. If there ends up being no strange effects, that would likely make this floor the first I've seen. But I don't want to assume until we're sure.
[ better to be safe nevertheless. because so far every floor has seemed to have some kind of effect, whether it be physical or even emotional. he blinks up suddenly when the green sea glass is compared alongside his face, earning a small raise of his brow and a quirk of his lips. ]
[ cyno has a powerful constitution!! his immune system is made of steel!! his cells are warriors!! okay but no, he'd be really cute if he came down with a cold, probably.. cute, and also really annoying. at any rate, cyno looks thoughtful at that. ]
Hmm. You're right. [ and at tighnari's rebuke, he tilts his head with a smile. ] Well.. half of your eyes, at least.
[ he'd have to fish around for a bit of brown glass in order to truly reflect tighnari's eyes well. ]
[ cyno would be both cute and annoying sick, but tighnari at least has incredible patience so he would manage to treat him just fine. but fortunately, cyno is ever the perfect picture of good health, and seems content comparing tighnari here to treasures he's found from his exploration. ]
Keen observation, General.
[ another airy tease, chuckling while he drapes his own tail onto his own lap to add his waterproof oil essential into his fur. he may as well step towards the water to enjoy a bit himself - but not without his own protection. ]
I may step out in a bit myself to look around, are you going to stay back?
[ cyno turns to glance while tighnari rubs the oil through his fur, as always feeling the itch in his own fingers to touch, but tighnari is busy right now, so he keeps his salty hands to himself. for now!! ]
I'll hold down the fort. You go have fun.
[ he says, with a smile, and leans to press a quick kiss to tighnari's cheek.
he can just.. do that now. he can kiss tighnari any time. well, so long as tighnari is willing, at least.. but the very idea fills him with warm fondness. ]
[ it's fine, it doesn't take him long to prep his tail, after how many rainy days he often has to prep for. it's done before he realizes it and almost starts to get up until cyno leans in to kiss his cheek.
he peers over at him with a few blinks, before his lips lift a little in an easy smile. ]
Suit yourself then. See you in a bit.
[ however, unlike cyno, he leans in to press a chaste kiss to the other man's lips. he doesn't linger too long, pushing up onto his feet after to trek off towards the shore. tighnari has no intention of diving straight into the waters though, mostly exploring what he can find along the water's edge instead. all the while with his tail wagging contently behind him. ]
[ cyno watches as tighnari wanders away, a warm smile on his face that he just can't seem to shake. warmth is bubbling in his chest, spreading through his limbs; this feels.. right, right in a way he doesn't question, doesn't need to. he's been in love with tighnari for years, taking this next step feels as natural as breathing.
after a few minutes spent watching the fox pick through the surf, cyno stands to shake the remaining water off of himself, squeezing it from his hair before toweling off a little more thoroughly. after that, he shambles back under the shade of the umbrella and drops into the second chair, where he begins to pick through the cooler.
there's food and drink both in there - water and juice, as well as snacks in the form of fruit and little gummy candies. also wrapped in paper are several pita pockets. he's a little hungry, but he'll wait for tighnari to return to eat properly - for now, he cracks open a lychee juice and samples the gummies. ]
[ stepping onto the shore is also nice for a breather. his nerves are tingling with.. a bubbling excitement. a contentment he knows quite well. but someone like tighnari by default keeps himself collected, calm, and being in a newer territory like this with cyno seems to be escalating his heart more so.
he takes some time exploring the sands, watching as the waters rise a little higher with gentle crashes onto the shore. his tail definitely is getting wet from it - as he had expected. but he doesn't mind, finding a few pieces himself to collect. when he thinks it's enough does he start to make his way back. ]

[ from looking to the few items cyno already has. his tail shakes a bit before he settles onto the chair beside his partner, holding up a red stone with a twinkle in his own gaze. ]
[ cyno sits back in his chair, watching tighnari as he wades through the surf, collecting his own little bits and bobs, enjoying the view. he's nearly finished the gummies by the time tighnari finally returns, and he smiles to greet him, popping another gummy into his mouth. ]
Mhm. Pita pockets.
[ a good lunch for the beach, really, nicely compact and enclosed. when tighnari sits next to him, cyno pulls two of the wrapped pitas from the cooler and offers one to his partner, just as tighnari lifts the little red stone. cyno's brows lift, and he chuckles. ]
Trying to steal my moves? [ that was his flirt!! ] Did you see the jellies?
Oh good, we're pretty much set then. I was starting to get a bit hungry.
[ pita pockets will hit the spot. he gladly takes the offer, murmuring a thanks and sets the red stone on his own lap to carefully unwrap the pita. ]
I don't need to steal them. [ a light roll of his eyes, lips quirked up in clear amusement. he takes a bite from his pita to enjoy with a light nod to his later words. ] Mhm, saw quite a few of them. They glow a little within the waters, did you notice?
[ cyno plays at looking wounded, and shakes his head. ]
No.. I suppose you don't.
[ tighnari is so charming already, there's really no need for him to use any of cyno's silly moves. all he needs to do is smile, and cyno is wrapped around his finger thoroughly and completely. a sigh, and cyno bites into his own pita pocket; it's nice and refreshing. ]
No, I didn't, I only saw the ones floating on the surface and washed up on the shore. I'm sure it's beautiful at night.
[ oh you, don't look at him like that! tighnari reaches out to gently touch cyno's arm and leaves it with one squeeze before he allows them to enjoy their pita. it's a refreshing taste and the ends of his tail swish contently. ]
We could stay here until night and see potentially.
[ another idea, though he looks over to cyno again, tilting his head a little with a twitch of an ear. ]
But I'm also fine with settling with what we've checked out so far today. [ hmm. ] Maybe go back to my room?
[ cyno is very good at the puppy dog eyes.. especially knowing they can get him tighnari's attention. spoiled mans!! at the offer, however, cyno has to think. staying to watch the moon jellies grow seems awfully romantic, but he also wants to spend some quiet time with tighnari. this thing between them is very new, and he wants to nurture it, explore it, he wants to spend as much time with tighnari as he possibly can. ]

[ he takes another few bites of his pita, mulling it over. ]
I think I'd like to see your room, if you have no preference either way.
[ though his cheeks warm a little, just mentioning it. ]
[ it's very new, and they have certainly time here to explore it. however, at the same time, tighnari is in no rush. and while he's quite fine in making decisions here and there - he wants to know what it is that cyno would prefer. so he waits patiently for him to reply, looking out into the sea to watch the remaining light reflect off the water's surface. ]
I don't mind either way yes, so that's fine by me. We can always revisit this floor if we want in the future too.
[ so there's no real pressure to decide. though the ends of his tail does start to wag a little, humming. ]

[ revisit the floor, that is. he'd like to sit in the sand with tighnari and watch the moon jellies glow in the night. that sounds absolutely lovely. but for now.. he nods, and smiles. ]

[ and so he tucks right into his pita pocket again, doing his best not to rush through it, but instead taking his time to enjoy it, to enjoy sitting beside tighnari and listening to the sound of the surf, smelling the salt of the sea. ]
[ the fact the both of them have gotten so comfortable to make plans day by day here, his tail sways a little with thought. someday they'll eventually return back home - back to Sumeru. back to their lives there and everything that comes with it.
but for now, they both finish off their pita pockets, enjoying the sea breeze and the sight of the gentle waves of the beach. when he's finished, he reaches to tidy some of their things, most of it anyways. he's sure whatever was provided to them will likely stay here but he wants to make sure they at least take back their small gathered collection.
he pushes to a stand, giving a big stretch with a long curl of his tail. ]
[ they will return home indeed, back to their lives, their responsibilities, but they will still have one another, which is always a comfort. cyno's life has not been the easiest, but he is grateful for all that he has, for the life he's built for himself, and for the people in it. he wouldn't be who he is without them. without cyrus, and lisa, without collei. without kaveh and alhaitham. without tighnari.
his eyes flick upward when tighnari stands, following that adorable curl of his tail, and cyno pops the last bite of pita into his mouth with a nod, washing it down with the last of his water. ]

[ as for their things.. well, there's little to do but tidy up. cyno doesn't like the idea of leaving it all here, but it appeared on this floor, perhaps it shall disappear again without their use; they certainly can't lug it all back to tighnari's room. so instead he neatens up, folding up the chairs, packing up the cooler and bags, rolling up their towels, closing the umbrella, while tighnari gathers their precious findings.
after that, he stretches as well, and after a moment's thought.. slips his fingers through tighnari's, squeezing. ]
[ though his normal pouch has changed, putting away all of their findings into it should be fine. when his clothes return to normal, he can double-check everything is still in there. from his understanding it should. afterward, he helps cyno in rolling up the rest of the things that were set up earlier by them.
with everything wrapped up and ready to go, he gives the beach one last glance - it's too bad he couldn't find any flora but there will always be other floors, other kinds of climates to investigate.
suddenly those thoughts are briefly halted, surprised at the notion of cyno's hand meeting his own. he looks over at him, the glow of surprise still evident until it softens to one that can only be described as fond with fingers lacing through his partner's in return. ]
Lucky for you my room has one. Come on.
[ he'll lead them back towards the elevator after, gingerly squeezing their held hands. ]
[ with their beach area as tidied as it could possibly be, and their hearts and bellies both full, cyno smiles, squeezing tighnari's hand and returning that fond glance, before they're traipsing across the warm sands again, and back to the elevators.
of course, the moment they're inside, their clothing is back to normal. ]
